Homeopathy College
Offers Online Program to Busy Professionals with Desire
to Learn Green Medicine
Phoenix, AZ – April 2, 2009 – The American Medical
College of Homeopathy (AMCH) based in Phoenix is making
it easy for students seeking a career path in “green”
medicine with its new online program. The college
announced it will now hold real-time online sessions for
its Homeopathic Practitioner Certificate Program
beginning May 2009.
With
its new online program, students can access the class
across the country and interact with classmates and
instructors using VOIP technology. A dedicated class
assistant will facilitate the communication between
online students and the instructor and all classes will
be videotaped for future reference.
“We
decided to adopt an online program because of the
numerous benefits for our students,” said Dr. Todd Rowe,
president of AMCH. “There are other homeopathic online
programs available, but AMCH has the only real-time
program that enables students to sit in on the class
without physically being there. Students can reduce
stress, travel time and can now participate in a
national networked homeopathic community from anywhere
in North America. This is especially helpful for our
students who have other professions, but are looking for
a new direction.”
Alumni Reza Sharifi, CCH, HMA completed the Certificate
Program in 2006 and practices homeopathy part-time.
“I
was retiring from my engineering job and I needed to do
something that would help others as well as keep me
useful. I tried different paths until this program
came about. The program allowed me to work full-time
and be able to go to school and learn something
completely different than what I was used to. It has
opened my heart and eyes much more and enabled me to see
health and healing from a totally different
perspective.”
The
Certificate Program is fully accredited by the Council
on Homeopathic Education, lasts three years and prepares
students for homeopathic licensure in the state of
Arizona. Throughout the program, students will learn to
practice a form of medicine that is holistic, natural,
gentle, inexpensive and curative of chronic disease.
The cost of the program is $4,300/year campus-based and
$4,600/year online. Students may also enroll after the
program start date.
