Homeopathic Treatment of Eczema
Overview of Eczema
Eczema is an inflammatory
skin disorder. It is described by patches of dry, red,
flaky skin, often accompanied by areas that are
inflamed, broken, moist and oozing. Homeopathy proposes
very good treatment for eczema. According to Homeopathic
principles, skin affections are usually an expression of
an internal disorder and are therefore not treated only
with external applications. Homeopathic medicines work
towards eliminating the basic sensitivity to develop
such a lesion using internal medicine. This approach not
only successfully removes the eczema but also removes
the possibility of recurrence of eczema. Homeopathy
considers any skin disease as an expression of lowered
vitality and immunity. Therefore, Homeopathic remedies
cure by enhancing the immunity level of the affected
individual. Based on a
report, published in Complementary
Therapies in Medicine, a one-year study of one to
sixteen year-old children with eczema was documented.
The children treated with Homeopathy had equal or better
results than those treated with corticosteroids. Those
children whose conditions were worse at the beginning of
the study had greater degrees of improvement with the
Homeopathic treatment.

Why

Conventional approach to eczema is oral or local
application of corticosteroids, antihistamines, etc.
which does not cure the condition but offers temporary
relief to eczema. Whereas Homeopathy is the most
effective, natural, safe and long lasting answer for
eczema. Homeopathy offers an individual approach, which
goes to the root of the eczema and heals eczema from
within, hence offering a long lasting cure instead of
temporary relief. The remedies are safe, natural and
non-toxic without any side effects. The success rate
reported by most Homeopathic practitioners is more than
